1. Local-First Data (Your Data Stays Yours

Our desktop applications are local-first. All data, documents, files, and personal settings you create or process within the app are stored locally on your device's hard drive. We do not have access to your local files, documents, or data, and we do not upload them to any cloud servers.

2. License Verification and Subscriptions

When you purchase a subscription or license, our payment processor (such as Stripe or Lemon Squeezy) handles your billing information securely. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

To verify your active subscription, the application occasionally communicates with our licensing backend (hosted via Cloudflare) using your registered email address or license key. This is solely to confirm that your subscription is active and to issue a cryptographically signed offline verification token to your device.

3. Analytics and Crash Reports

• Website: we may use privacy-respecting analytics on our website to track basic page views and help us improve the user experience.
• App: Our desktop applications do not track your usage behaviour, keystrokes, or personal activities. If the app encounters a critial error, crash reports are only sent if explicitly triggered or allowed by your operating system settings.
